The European Parliament adopted by 616 votes to 7, with 23 abstentions, a legislative resolution on the draft Council decision concerning the extension of the Agreement for scientific and technological cooperation between the European Community and the Government of the United States of America.
In line with the recommendation of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, Parliament gave its consent to the extension of the agreement.
