The European Parliament adopted by 523 votes to 78, with 34 abstentions, a resolution on the 2021 Commission report on Serbia.
Commitment to EU accession
Parliament expressed its support for Serbia’s future membership of the European Union and recalled that a credible enlargement perspective requires sustained efforts and irreversible reforms in all areas, especially those related to the rule of law, as well as an unwavering commitment to European standards and values.
